Public classes & events

Different ways to practice and heal

I am offering public yoga classes in North Vancouver and Vancouver.

Currently teaching:

WINTER YOGA SERIES in NORTH VANCOUVER

Hatha Yoga - Akhanda style

Mondays 6-7pm - at SHY Practice

Series 1: Jan 13th - Feb 10th

Series 2: Feb 24th - March 24th

Akhanda Yoga, founded by master Dr. Yogishri Vishvketu, is a holistic and integrated approach to yoga that emphasizes a balanced practice. The word Akhanda means “whole” or “indivisible,” reflecting the comprehensive nature of this style, which incorporates all aspects of yoga into one class: asana (posture), pranayama (breathing techniques), mantra (chanting), meditation, and philosophy.

Register with the calendar below. Only 7 spots available.

Restorative Raja Yoga

Mondays 7:15-8:15pm - at SHY Practice

Jan 13th - Feb 10th

Restorative Raja Yoga was developed by Dr. Yogrishi Vishvketu as a gentle yet profound style within Akhanda Yoga. This practice combines simple, accessible postures with Bhramari (honey bee) sound, which enhances physical release and mental clarity. This class aims to release deeply embedded tension, restore the body's natural rhythms, and support a calm, balanced mind.

Register with the calendar below. Only 7 spots available.

Yoga Nidra

Mondays 7:15-8:15pm - at SHY Practice

Feb 24th - March 24th

The Akhanda Yoga Nidra practice is a unique style, masterfully designed by Himalayan Master, Dr. Yogrishi Vishvketu. While commonly described as “the yoga of rest / the yoga of sleep”, at Akhanda Yoga we share Yoga Nidra as a practice of Transcendental Rest. It is a practice for deep inner awakening to self-heal, expand, and rest within your True Self.

Register with the calendar below. Only 7 spots available.

PRANAYAMA & MEDITATION

Wednesdays 7:30-8am - Online

Guided by techniques rooted in the traditional teachings of Hatha Yoga, as passed down through the Adi Nath Shiv lineage and shared by my teacher and Yoga Master Dr. Yogrishi Vishvketu, this morning practice will help clear your physical, mental, emotional and energetic body.

Register with the calendar below. By Donation.

HATHA & BREATH at CASA COPAL (Vancouver)

Friday 9:30-10:45am

Find balance through asana (posture) and pranayama (breath practices). This Hatha & Breath class is set at a slower pace, allowing you to connect with your body's rhythms and strength through breath. Variations are offered to suit all levels of practice.

Register on Casa Copal website.

VINYASA at CASA COPAL (Vancouver)

Friday 12:00-1:00pm

Creative & dynamic sequences that connect movement to breath. As conscious breath weaves each asana (posture) together, you will build strength, balance, and flexibility & allow your mind to enter a state of moving meditation. Variations are offered to suit all levels of practice.

Register on Casa Copal website.

I also teach in studios around the city from time to time: Samadhi Shala (Coal Harbour), & The Yoga Bar (Yaletown).

Public classes are a great way to start practicing yoga, see which teacher you resonate most with, and start building your personal practice. Public classes are also great to build community!

I often organize events around yoga, wellness, and community with my peers.

Events are always catered to generate a safe and healing space, for us to grow and learn together as a community.

See below my current offerings, and do not hesitate to reach out if you would like to see additional days / times to the schedule, or events around a specific theme!
